A lot of people think that, if you’re a celebrity, even a minor one, you can catch a break with the police. They think the law doesn’t apply to everyone evenly. However, that certainly isn’t the case in Georgia.

This past week, Georgia kicked off its “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. This is basically a zero-tolerance policy that lasts for about two weeks during the holiday season. Georgia’s Governor and law enforcement know that there are more DUI accidents this time of year than any other time.

This is why they take part in the national campaign, endorsed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If anyone is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol in Georgia, they will be arrested. There are no breaks given – even to minor celebrities.

Just ask Tyranny Todd. Todd appeared on MTV’s Season 5 of “Are You the One.” This is a show where young men and women try to find love. They’re also competing for their share of $1 million. Tyranny was on the show and was known for her aggressive attitude and no-fear approach.

On December 8, Todd was pulled over by Georgia State Police in Augusta, Georgia. She was arrested and charged with both texting while driving and DUI. The police didn’t say whether they realized who she was when she was pulled over. But it doesn’t seem like they would’ve cared.

If someone is caught drinking and driving, they’re going to jail. There are no exceptions – especially during this special zero-tolerance campaign. There has been no comment released by the MTV reality star.
